Collection: Original Oil Paintings

This is the first collection of oil paintings I have released on my store. Created during my time learning with painter Daniel Levi, these works are preliminary but such important markers for the start of my process when working larger. There has been a constant return to notions of growth, flowers, land, and lineage in my work, but this time I am returning to images of bodies, hands, faces, and a mother’s embrace.

I paint growing flowers twirling into body parts and  imagine worlds that hold the question, “Where would we be if the land were still ours?” My work remains abstract in its form; free, playful, and wandering; a place to rest while our outer worlds continue to break down and divide.
