As the second single off of Amy Ayanda’s upcoming EP, Young, Dirty Laundry is a song about finding a balance between life's ambitions and responsibilities. It's a song about finding a rhythm in the constants, things like doing the laundry. Amy started writing Dirty Laundry at home last year while her daughter Frank played at her feet; and went to finish it up with the band when Dean got back from work. For Amy and Dean, music is their outlet, their way of remaining connected.
