A Mother, My Mothers is an original contemporary oil painting on canvas paper by Cape Town artist Amy Ayanda Lester, exploring themes of memory, impermanence, and emotional transformation. Using images of her family members and images of plants from found books, these works are the beginning of something greater in Amy's Practise as she moves more towards larger oil works.
